Cable Spyder
We recommend the Cable Spyder accessory to manage elaborate complicated
wiring systems. The light gray Cable Spyder, which stands behind
the furniture, allows cables from any level to be neatly bundled
and routed. This means that adjacent components can be easily
and in-visibly wired together. The Cable Spyder is constructed
in a way that makes kinking of cables unnecessary. Excess cable
can be tucked away out of sight in the housing.
The Cable Spyder has a metal basic structure with
exit slots every 50 mm (2) along its height. If only one
piece of equipment per level needs wiring, then the basic Spyder
will suffice.
When there are two or three components per level then inter-component
wiring becomes an issue (linking up the components). As a solution,
we offer rods that can be slid through the slots of the basic
Spyder. Cables can be secured to the rods with cable ties (included
in delivery) and routed out of sight behind the components. There
are two rods for each level, one for signal carrying cables and
one for separately routed power lines.
The basic Spyder is available in four different heights (Basic
1-4). The slide-in rods are available in 2 lengths: 600 mm/23
2/3(for 2 adjacent components per level) and 1200 mm/47
1/4 (for 3 adjacent components per level).
Requirements for wiring the Steel - Glass pieces:
Basis 2, Rod length 600 mm (23 2/3) / per
level for Biga 150
Basis 2, Rod length 1200 mm (47 1/4) / per
level for Biga 200
Basis 3, Rod length 600 mm (23 2/3) / per
level for Triga TV
Basis 4, Rod length 600 mm (23 2/3) / per
level for Lambda TV 3
